The route from Krugzell to Herbisried is moderately uphill but still beautiful. In the other direction it is perfect with some mountain views, although the mountains are rather small. The traffic is bearable up to Reicholzried and then pretty quiet. When the weather is nice there are lots of motorbikes on the road. Sun-seekers from northern Unterallgäu usually stop at the edge of the forest outside Herbisried and go hiking.
