View of Großer Alpsee and the Allgäu Alps

A great view of the Alpsee and the mountains 🏔. A panorama that can hardly be surpassed.

The viewpoint is close to the beautifully situated Siedelalpe and can be reached within half an hour from the parking lot at Schlettermoos (located on the 2006 state road between Immenstadt and Missen). The path runs without a steep gradient and is also suitable for a walk with smaller children; it allows a clear view of the Gschwender Horn and Himmeleck opposite, as well as to the east of Grünten and to the south into the Oberstdorf mountains. The Siedelalpe is open all year round, but only on weekends in winter. From there it is only a 10-minute walk to the Juget-Alpe, which is also managed and is a good alternative as a snack option.
