Parkgate is a lovely place to visit. A short walk from Neston train station. If you travel by car there is ample parking in Neston and at the pubs at either end of the Parade. Public toilets are provided free of charge adjacent to the church. Parkgate remains extremely popular with hikers, cyclists and families but hasn't changed it's character simply to cash in on its visitors. It still has it's nice pubs, traditional ice cream emporiums, fish and chip shop and magnificent views. And although it is very busy, Parkgate still manages to retain that air of genteel peacefulness. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.
