The Black Heart, also called the Black Lake on some maps, is a lake in the municipality of Korswandt on the island of Usedom in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The body of water is located in the terminal moraine landscape between the Wolgastsee and the Zerninsee, about 180 meters from the German-Polish border.

The pear-shaped lake has an approximate area of 1.5 hectares with a north-south extension of 205 meters and a maximum width of 120 meters in a west-east direction. At high water levels, it can drain north to the border via a normally dry ditch, where the old waterworks of the city of Swinemünde (Polish: Świnoujście) is located. The lake is completely surrounded by forest. There is a small rest area and a jetty on its southern shore.

The lake formed the southeastern end of Lake Wolgast until the 19th century, as shown on the Schmettauschen map of 1780, among others.[1]
