Bike Touring Highlight
Almost entirely surrounded by beech forests, the Wolgastsee is not only a breeding area for many seabirds, but also a popular destination for visitors to Usedom. If you want, you can even go around the lake by bike or on foot.

The Wolgastsee is located southwest of the Ahlbeck seaside resort. It has a length of around 1.4 kilometers, a width of 0.45 km and an average depth of 4.1 meters. The lake, like all Mecklenburg lakes, was created in the last ice age.
On the west bank there is a beautiful bike path along the lake. There are also several benches that spontaneously invite you to take a break with a beautiful view of the lake. A refreshing swim in the lake is also possible here.

From the lake you can drive south along the partly hidden border through beautiful forests down to the Szczecin Lagoon to Kamminke. On the left side of the road, there are actually boundary posts in the middle of the forest.

To relax, lie on the bank, look at the sky, watch the clouds and dream. Just being there, watching the waterfowl, pure nature
