Tips
The dune is located on the former "strip" / military training area (TrÜbPl) which was used until 2013 as a maneuvering area by the German Armed Forces.
Today, the area is part of the natural site Lübtheener heath, the largest contiguous sand heath / sand dry grassland on fly sands in Mecklenburg.
