Cycling

The first castle was built before 1227. After its destruction in 1227, the complex remained unfortified until 1380. It was then probably converted back into a castle for a short time, only to continue to exist as an unfortified stone building afterwards. In 1654, a new manor house was built, but in 1788/89 it had to make way for the current, modest brick building. (Stefan Eismann)
