The author of the project is Michał Ćwiek, a designer and academic teacher at the Institute of Fine Arts of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. A sports and art enthusiast. The mural was created as part of his doctoral thesis.
The work, made on a 1:1 scale, shows Ola climbing for the record on the so-called standard, a line consisting of 20 holds and 11 steps, always arranged identically. Ola is the holder of the current world record (6.06) and a gold medalist at the Paris 2024 Olympics🏅
