Puss in Boots Statue

With five life-sized figures and groups of figures, five different artists have staged the fairy tales effectively and vividly. The “Grimms Fairy Tale Trail” is thanks to the Dr. Hans and Hildegard Medler Foundation, whose aim is to promote reading, especially among children, and to preserve German fairy tale culture.In addition to the introductory work of art “Nina - a reading girl”, a purchase from the artist Leonardo Rossi, “The Frog Prince” was created in 2007 by Günter Metz (Langenleiten) and “Rumpelstiltskin” by Rainer Landgraf from Fulda. Two years later, “Puss in Boots” followed, created by Klaus Metz (also Langenleiten). In 2010, the last two fairy tale characters were unveiled: “The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats” by Andreas Teuchert (Büchenbach) and the “Bremen Town Musicians”, designed by Willi Tannheimer (Bad Hindelang).
