The entrance is not easy to find, but it is signposted and is via the entrance (reception) of the hotel of the same name. A very friendly employee approached us and showed us the entrance to the St. Clemens Church ruins. You can also take a break in the secluded, quiet garden of the hotel.

Saint Clement's Church was built in the 13th century on a site that had been a place of worship since the 11th century. It was one of Visby's oldest and largest churches. The site, now a ruin, has the characteristics of other medieval churches on Gotland.
