Cycling
The happy cemetery of Săpânța is an incredible place where the graves are decorated in bright colors and represent a scene from the life of the deceased accompanied by a dedication, often ironic, dedicated to the memory of the missing person. It all started in 1935 by the local artisan Stan Ioan Pătraș and today, after the artist's death, the tradition is carried on by Dumitru Pop. The cemetery has more than 800 graves.
