What a moment, as if for Count Sivers, young people danced for us or we watched them, the music to it will accompany us in our ears for the rest of our Baltic trip.

Cēsis Castle Park landscape was created in 1832-1833. It was designed by the Cēsis New Castle owner Count Carl Gustav von Sievers as a family recreation area with promenades, the adjacent medieval castle ruins and the mirror reflection of the pond created the necessary romantic mood. The mid-19th century redevelopment plan added benches, gazebos and a patio.
The bust is placed on Carl Hill in the Castle Park, named in honour of the Castle Park's creator, placed there by his son Emmanuel von Sievers in 1908.
