The Mausoleum of Mohammed V in Rabat is an impressive architectural monument dedicated to the former King of Morocco, Mohammed V. He played a pivotal role in Morocco's independence from French colonial rule and is revered as the father of the nation. Built between 1962 and 1971, the mausoleum is an outstanding example of Moroccan architecture, combining traditional elements with modern influences.

The mausoleum is surrounded by a magnificent wall and features an impressive courtyard decorated with mosaics and ornate ornamentation. Inside the mausoleum are the tombs of Mohammed V, as well as his son, King Hassan II, and his grandson, King Mohammed VI. The tombs are lined with precious materials such as marble and wood and are illuminated by ornate lamps. We were very impressed.
