Road cycling

The Schenklengsfeld train station was once the operational center of the Hersfeld circuit from Bad Hersfeld through the Solztal to Heimboldshausen. There were extensive tracks and workshops here. The efforts of some railway enthusiasts to preserve the railway facilities are obvious, but a museum use still seems a long way off.
