It is a network of elevated walkways that connects buildings in downtown Calgary. This system allows people to move around the city center without having to go outside, which is especially useful during the winter. The name "+15" is because the walkways are approximately 15 feet (about 4.5 meters) above street level. At more than 16 kilometers in length, it is one of the largest walkway networks of its kind in the world.
