Mountain biking

The main military cemetery from World War II in the Łomianki municipality is the War Cemetery in Kiełpin (ul. Rolnicza), which is the resting place of approx. 2500 soldiers of the „Poznań” and „Pomorze” armies who fell in September 1939 during the Battle of Bzura. It is the largest such necropolis in the western Warsaw district.

The Kiełpino War Cemetery is the final resting place of approximately 2,300 soldiers of the "Poznań" and "Pomorze" Armies who fell in September 1939 during the battle for Warsaw. In addition to soldiers from that period, there is also a monument dedicated to the crew of the American B-17G bomber "I'll Be Seeing You," which flew relief for the Warsaw Uprising on September 18, 1944. The plane was shot down by German anti-aircraft defenses over Dziekanów Leśny, killing some of the crew; others managed to save themselves by parachuting.
