Built in 1893 by the design of Vladimir Lunsky. The building was constructed in the style of historicism, in the architectural forms of wooden churches in Northern Russia. It is the oldest church in Kemeri, according to legend, it was built without iron nails.
This could quite possibly be true, as I have visited another Orthodox Church in Northern Finnland, built in 1987, which was built without using any nails. There it is a fact. Actually, many log houses are built without any nails.
