Qingshan Lake was created in 1964 by building a dam at its eastern end. Today it is a tourist attraction - and boasts with an approx. 40km cycle path around the entire lake.
This segment covers the north side of the lake (or reservoir). When riding along this side, please consider riding in the early morning or later afternoon during summer - the sun can become quite intense and there is less cover on this side.

Qingshan Lake was created in 1964 by building a dam at its eastern end. Today it is a tourist attraction - and boasts with an approx. 40km cycle path around the entire lake.
This is an extended section along the north side of the lake. Nice mix of boardwalk over the lake and paths along the lake. During summer I recommend you consider going in the morning or late afternoon, as there is no or only little cover from the sun on this side.
