From here you can take Cerbat Road further into the Cerbat Mountains, and stop at the Cerbat Ghost Town. There isn't much left of the once thriving mining town, but it's worth a visit if you have an interest in ghost towns.

As for the name, Cerbat is derived from a local Hualapai or Wallapai word for bighorn sheep.
