The Evangelical Parish of A.B. Gols is the largest Evangelical Parish in Burgenland with around 3,300 members. The parish area also includes the daughter parishes of Neusiedl am See and Tadten as well as the Evangelicals of the Seewinkel.

History:

21 August 1783: Foundation stone laid for the church

13 October 1887: Foundation stone laid for the tower, 47 m.

1963: Construction of a new rectory

1976: General renovation of the church: removal of the galleries, reconstruction of the chancel, leaded glass windows by Prof. Hannelore Knittler-Gesellmann.

1991: Construction of the Evangelical Lutheran Community Center

2003: Exterior renovation of the church: drainage, facade renovation, sacristy extension.
