The farming communities of Specken, Kayhausen, Kayhauserfeld, Petersfehn I and II, Bloh, Kleefeld, Friedrichsfehn and Wildenloh will be connected. The aim is for as many people as possible who travel by car between Bad Zwischenahn and Oldenburg or the surrounding farming communities to switch to cycling. According to the municipality of Bad Zwischenahn, up to 100 tons of CO2 can be saved per year. The new cycle path is intended to make commuter and school traffic safer and more comfortable in particular. In addition, the municipality of Bad Zwischenahn is planning further new cycle connections.
