Hiking

Fabrica is a quiet, forgotten, charming little village, a former brickworks. However, you can no longer see anything of it, as a large house was built over the old brickworks. Only the foundations can be partially viewed. Above the village you have a fantastic view over the Ria Farmosa to the sea. This small village is beautiful and very idyllic!

Parque Natural da Ria Farmosa

You can walk for miles along the beach from Tavira to Fábricia. From there you can take a small boat to the town for €1.50. The beach is almost deserted for early June. Small and large shells line the path, in my opinion one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe.
