The Orthodox Church in the village of Gorodishche was erected in 2010. on the site of a building that burned down during the Great Patriotic War. The first mention of the temple in the village of Gorodishche dates back to 1756, when the owner of the estate, landowner Pishchalo, erected a wooden Uniate church on a stone foundation in honor of the saint and wonderworker Nicholas of Myra.
