The Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Belarus is a unique open-air skansen museum. The museum presents objects of architecture from 3 historical regions of Belarus: Central Belarus, Poozerye and Dnieper. The idea of creating the museum belonged to the famous Belarusian artist Ferdinand Rushits, but the subsequent world wars did not allow his dream to come true. As a result, the Belarusian skansen was opened only in 1976 and is relatively young compared to similar museums in the world. The territory of the complex is quite large, so I recommend visiting the exposition by bicycle.
