Tip for the wooden ball:
If you want to go down with the carpet slide, then you have to think about your carpet when you climb up. There is none above. You have to carry it up with you.Still very interesting to know:
On the way up there are a few stations where you can put your skill/balance to the test (but can also be bypassed).Arrived at the bottom:
There are also 4 ball tracks here. The balls can be bought in the restaurant for €2.50. There are two lanes per ball track that you can compete against each other. The wooden balls have a logo which is also a nice souvenir.

There is a small playground at the beer garden (not the climbing trail). It's free and very nicely done. There is something for smaller and larger children.

There is also a climbing trail for children. Tickets are available at the Holzkugel box office.
The climbing trail is fenced. The admission ticket is validated upon entry and no longer works afterwards. So better go to the toilet with the dwarves beforehand 😉.
The climbing trail is great and the kids have a lot of fun. Parents can watch from the outside or watch the goings-on from the beer garden. If parents want to come in, they have to buy their own tickets. The price is around €3 per card. There is a €0.50 discount if you have already been to the Holzkugel.
