View of the charming town and the water from the top of the Castle Hill. The tower dates from the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries and is about 20 m high. Originally, when there was no castle in Kazimierz, it was called the Łokietek Tower, it was part of the Upper Castle and defended the crossing over the Vistula. It also served as a lighthouse, with a fire burning on the roof to inform traders and other visitors about the port.
