In the night from January 11th to 12th, 2007, the storm "Franz" raged in the region and caused severe damage in Krosigk. Even the post mill could not withstand this storm and fell over. The damage was enormous, but we found friends and helpers who not only helped with money, but primarily with free services. In the spring of 2008, with the support of the Employment Agency, the destroyed mill was dismantled and parts that could be reused were secured. The actual reconstruction began in the winter of 2008/2009 with the preparation of the construction area and the prefabrication of the mill stand. On July 10th the buck was erected on the Mühlenberg. The completion of the mill and the festive commissioning took place on the day of the open monument, September 12th, 2010 as part of the federal championships in performance sheep herding. Even if there wasn't a mild breeze moving the wings that day, the rush of visitors was huge. The mill has now passed its turning test.Every third Sunday of the month around 10 a.m., the members of the mill association meet on the Mühlenberg to "tinker" at the mill or, if the wind is right, to let the mill run. Curious people are expressly welcome!Source: gemeinde-petersberg.de/de/sehenswertes/bockwindmuehle.html
