The hermitage of Sant Elm dates back to the year 1452 and is located where there was a fortification with four towers, very strategic for this area of the coast. In 1696 it was destroyed by the French army, rebuilt in the 18th century and again in 1923 as the gateway to the garden city of the Sant Elm urbanization, promoted by the industrialist Pere Rius i Taulet.

The hermitage also has a viewpoint with excellent views of the coastline.
