The final resting place of the Infamous Pirate Captain John 'THE FLAYER' Humperding and his crew of the Pirate ship SEA GHOST. Cornered in the Ope Cove by Commander James Dodsworth and his Naval crew onboard HMS Widowmaker. After a 3 year pursuit it ended here in a battle to the last man standing in the year 1734.

    The Graves and their occupants:
    Bellamy Smythe III.
A lord by birth who turned his back on his wealth and family. He bought his way on to the crew by stealing his families heirlooms, and gifting them to Capt John. Starting the chain of events that would bring the death to all the Crew of Sea Ghost.

    Gerard THE COWARD Marlowe.
Never won a fight fairly in his life, never earned an honest penny, never told the truth. A despicable cretinous wretch of man, was often loathed by his crewmates. He stole the teeth from his dead mothers body to sell for ale. Not a nice person at all.
      Stanwood THE PEG Hallewell
Hailing from Port Isaac on the cornish coast. The peg was known to have only had one tooth.... ever. when he became a pirate, he filed it to a sharp point. He was renowned for piercing it in to the cheeks of his enemies in battle, whilst howling like a banshee screaming ya been pegged ha ha ha.

      Edwin Barnaby
Not much is known about Edwin. It was told he was a dashing handsome pirate, that could make any lady fall in love with him. Trouble was never far from Edwin. But he was highly experienced with Sword, Pistol and Rapier. His only defeat coming at the Battle of Ope Cove, where he was the last to fall.
        Mollie THE WITCH Appleton
PIrates feared the witch more than their enemies. Labeling her cursed, as every ship she was crewed with, sank with no other survivors apart from herself. Little did they know she was Captain Johns lover, and she would murder the crew by poison, steal their loot and scuttle their ships. The Captains Dog was ironicly called Scuttles.... coincidence or sense of humour?

        Scuttles the dog.
Scuttles was Capt Johns wolfhound. An absolute beast of a hound. Standing as tall as man. Only obeying a command from his Captain. He bore the great responsibility of keeping safe the key to the grog and rum store. The Key around his collar. Many a pirate lost a finger or two attempting to take the key.
At the request of the Captain, If he was to fall he was to be buried at the captains feet. Scuttles escaped the battle and remained aboard the Sea Ghost. The Sea Ghost set sail crewless , as they they were dying or dead on the shore of the cove, nobody ever saw the Ship again. Years later, Unknown persons buried Scuttles at the feet of his captain.
