Idyllic little lake in the middle of Löhne. The popular cycle path 🚴‍♀️🚴from Mennighüffen/ Ostscheid (in the north) under the A30 motorway and past the "Marktkauf" to the high school/ outdoor pool/ Kronprinzenbrücke (in the south) leads directly past the Fichtensee. Opportunity for a short break! The former gravel pit from the construction of the A30 has long since become a pretty wetland biotope and popular local recreation destination.
