In addition to the moorings, the promenade with its numerous restaurants and shops invites you to linger and explore. From here you can take passenger ships for boat tours on the Müritz and the Mecklenburg Lake District.

The Müritz National Park, established in 1990, is located in southern Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and is the largest land-based national park in Germany. The park extends across the two geographically separate areas of the Mecklenburg Lake District and part of the Feldberg Lake District.
With more than 21,000 inhabitants, Waren is a medium-sized town and spa resort. It is the seat of the Waren Lake District District, which includes twelve municipalities.
