The parking situation is a bit difficult, as is getting down to the gorge. Depending on the parking space, you have to walk a few 100 m along the street.
I cannot recommend a visit on the weekend. We were lucky and were alone in the gorge. On the way back we saw dozens of oncoming people. Hiking boots are an advantage as it is rocky, but we also saw quite a few people wearing flip flops.
