Hiking
A section of track and a stone plaque mark the spot where the first public railway line on the European continent once ran, connecting Linz and České Budějovice. The transport of salt from the Salzkammergut region was certainly a major reason for the railway's construction. Soon, the first steam locomotives appeared, and this track was unsuitable for them. Today, it serves as a pleasant walking path.
