The crypt chapel of the Droste House in Senden, built in the Baroque style, stands impressively at the end of the main avenue to Senden Castle. The chapel is a square building with a three-sided apse. Brick pattern and corner blocks made of sandstone. The roof above the entrance is projecting and supported by two pillars. To the side of the entrance with a straight roof are two oval windows. The roof turret shows the date 1786, the building itself is more likely to be assigned to the first half of the 18th century. The sandstone altar (consecrated in 1538, previous location unknown) contains a copy of a Madonna painting by the Münster painter Kaspar Goerke from 1865, which was stolen in 1980. On the walls are small epitaphs with the life dates of the buried family members.
