The conversion to a bicycle street based on the Dutch model is a pioneering project in Austria and aims to create a new allocation of space and reduce traffic. Bicycles and cars share the red-colored roadway, but cars are guests here, and the following rules apply on bicycle streets:
- Cyclists may ride side by side.
- Motorized traffic may only approach or cross, but not through.

Many trees and quiet zones; cars can only use Argentinier Straße in one direction at a time, thus reducing through traffic.

Before the conversion, the lower section near the radio station had one of the narrowest bicycle lanes with oncoming traffic in Vienna...
