Estimated to be between 400 and 500 years old, the Angel Oak is one of the oldest living organisms in the United States. The tree stands at a height of around 65 feet and has a canopy that shades an area of approximately 17,000 square feet, making it an awe-inspiring sight to behold. The Angel Oak is not only notable for its age and size but also for its sprawling, twisting branches.
