Snowshoeing
The toboggan run, on the 2.5 km long toboggan run on the Buchenberg, takes you from the summit over brisk curves down to Buching. In the Ferein you can even go tobogganing in the evening with floodlights.

Hiking
If you're familiar with other huts in the area, this one has a bit of a cafeteria feel.
We usually bring something with us and maybe stop by for a drink.
The outdoor area is really nice, with a children's playground, goats, and chickens.
