The eighth bridge with attached aft footbridge is so named because it consisted of eight solid vaults as a truss bridge before it was rebuilt after the Second World War. It was built in 1932. Part is maintained by the city, part by Deutsche Bahn. Many people also know it as the "Schanzenberg Bridge".
