Roanne's Municipal Theater is a jewel in the heart of the city! A symbol of Roanne's tourism, it remains a vibrant cultural center today.
Built in 1883 under the direction of the architect Barberot, the new municipal theater opened in 1885 with a performance of Rossini's The Barber of Seville. Its beautiful Italian-style hall hosts different shows each season, offering cultural exposure to all.
