The Gulmen does not belong to the Alpstein (!), but lies south of its southwestern foothills. That's why you also have great views of the Alpstein massif with the Säntis as the prominent center. You can also enjoy magnificent views to the south-east of the striking Churfirsten mountains and to the south of Lake Walen. However, the most beautiful views are not from this summit with a signpost, but further south at the (summit) cross and north at the end of a barely recognizable narrow path (see separate section HL!)
