Here you will find a relatively generously dimensioned hiking car park for the "Holmer Sandberge" area, which is crossed by several hiking trails. The dry, warm sandy areas are home to a variety of plants and animals, some of which are rare. The "Homer Sandberge" habitats have been designated as an FFH area (Fauna-Flora-Habitat area) together with the "Buttermoor/Butterbargsmoor" nature reserve. They also belong to the "Wedeler Au Regional Park". (Source: information board)
