The Church of the Divine Saviour is named after August 6, the day on which the Christians reconquered the then town of Vejer. The church is a Mudejar-style building built on the site of an old mosque and is located in the highest part of the town, within the old city walls. Although the interior of the church is a mishmash of different styles, this imposing church on the hill of this beautiful village with its white houses is a feast for the eyes.
