What surprises me here is that the highlight is listed as a hiking highlight but not as a running highlight, even though the NN Egmond Halve Marathon takes place here every year.

Maybe I'll run here sometime? Registration for 2025 seems to be closed now (beginning of June 2024), so you apparently have to decide early.
Addendum: registration wasn't even open yet, but I've already planned another event for that date.
