The 20 meter high lighthouse was built in 1875 and is red with a white band. It is made of cast iron like many others in Holland. Lighthouse Het Noorderhoofd is also called Lighthouse 't Lage Licht. Together with the high lighthouse of Westkapelle, this tower forms a line of lights.
