After a long roadwalk in either direction, the Oregon Desert Trail takes you to this junction of Highway 395 and Cox Road. The town of Lakeview is nine miles south of here. It can be very hard to get a ride into town. Unfortunately, there is also no UBER or Lyft available, but you can try to arrange a pickup by the supportive employees at the Chamber of Commerce or the Senior Center Bus. Call 541-947-4966.
