The trail in Buchenberg begins directly in the village, on the road towards Eschach / Kreuztal. 3 different parking spaces, well signposted. Right on the trail (Campimontweg) for 2.50 euros. The others are free. Sommerau car park: with direct access to the cross-country ski runs! From the parking lot at the Protestant church: it is about 150 meters to walk! The entire trail runs between 850 and 1000 meters above sea level.

1.) The Danube-Rhine trail (better known as the Willibald trail) is an approx. 5 km loop to Schwarzerd. Approx. 50 hm.

2.) About halfway along the Willibald loop there is a junction to the right. From there you can take two small loops with you and then walk up to Eschach and the Eschacher Weiher.
