Tips
The rock spur with the ruins protrudes impressively into the glacial valley of the Danube. Today there is only an eight meter high and one meter thick wall right on the rock. It is believed that the castle dates from around 1300 and was developed as a residence.

It is worthwhile to park your bike at the foot of the castle and walk the short ascent (hiking trail) to the castle. From the castle you have a beautiful view of Hütting and the Urdonautal

Unfortunately there is only a remnant of the wall left. However, this has been secured and can be climbed from the valley via a small path.
