The section that leads through the "Kupfersieferbachtal" on the right bank of the Rhine undoubtedly deserves the title "wildly romantic" - which may seem a bit kitschy to some. At the moment, the path can only be managed with a small but manageable climb, as a tree has fallen across the path.

A beautiful Siefen valley; left and right it goes up, below a brook babbles and the sun shines in. Class
The nature reserve encompasses the four-kilometer-long valley of the Kupfersiefer Bach creek from its source near Schlehecken to the confluence with the Sülz near Menzlingen, including a larger and a few small secondary depths. Acid mixed beech forests with partly old wood and a well-developed shrub layer grow on the accompanying hillside forests. The slopes on the upper reaches are often overgrown with lean grassland. In the Bachaue one encounters extensively used or fallow wet and damp grassland.
