Great viewing point at the Wet Triangle near the Red Box. It can be crowded when the weather is nice, but the walk to the top is worth it!

The Dortmund Ems Canal and the Mittelland Canal meet at the Nassen Dreieck. It goes via Hanover to near Minden in the north. The Mittelland Canal is 325.3 kilometers long and is the longest artificial waterway in Germany. Including branch and connecting canals, the length is 392 km.
At the Nassen Dreieck, the canal can be crossed on foot via the Bergeshöveder Steg (Bevergerner Steg). This beautiful bridge was completed in 1914. At the Nassen Dreieck, there are also opportunities to fortify yourself at small snack stands and watch the ships on the water... or other hikers or bikers ;-)

Nice part of the Teutoschleifen route. Lots of variation with this bridge, the many boats and climbing the hills.
