The ruin of the Lebenswarte, located on the almost 86 meter high Gollwitzer Berg, was once part of a hunting lodge that Count von Wartensleben had built in the years 1847-1848. The past two centuries and the ravages of time have unfortunately only left the remains of the complex.

The remains of a tower are on the Gollwitzer Berg. Count von Wartensleben had this built between 1847 and 1848 with a small hunting lodge. The building was called the lifeguard. After the hunting lodge fell into disrepair over the decades, only the ruins of the tower remain today. It is a listed building.
